Promotional Poster for "Asylum" Rock/Alternative night at Huddersfield greatest pub/music venue : The Parish
The Design is based around old horror & Thiller movie posters, in particualrly Alfred Hitchcocks "Psycho".
I made the logo from scratch in Illustrator, re-sizing an existing font then breaking it apart and altering it vector by vector.
The photos are actually a couple of my friends, that I altered in photoshop to create the cut-out, halftone effect.
I painted over the Mohawk guy on the right in photoshop to make him look mysterious. And added lightening using photoshops horrible vector shape tools
